Freedom 5000 5K Run/Walk and 1K Kids Fun Run

A Partnership between the City of Claremont and the Claremont High School Cross Country Boosters
The Claremont Village Freedom 5000 is a family-friendly event taking place on the Saturday before 4th of July. The event features a 1K Kids Fun Run, a 5K Run, and a 5K Walk/Competitive Race Walk through the scenic tree-lined streets of Claremont. The 1K Kids Fun Run for ages 12 and under takes place at 7:30 a.m. All participants will receive a medal. The 5K Run begins at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K Walk begins at 8:05 a.m. Medals are given to the first 3 individuals in each division. Free shoes are given to the male and female overall winners. Pre-registration is recommended to ensure a spot, as well as a performance fabric t-shirt. Pre-registration will begin May 1, 2022
