Redistricting Public Hearing and Workshop
January 29 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
The City has begun the process of redistricting. Every ten years, local governments use new data from the Census to redraw their district boundaries to reflect how local populations have changed.
In 2019, the City Council established five City Council districts. However, based on the 2020 Census figures, the City must adjust its district boundaries to remain population balanced and take into consideration communities of interest. The City Council is asking residents to help re-draw district maps. To access the Zoom meeting, copy and paste the following link into your web browser: https://zoom.us/j/256208090.
