Cal Poly Pomona commencements are Friday through Sunday

Cal Poly Pomona commencements take place daily beginning Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18, with ceremonies at 8 a.m., noon, 4 and 7:30 p.m., except for May 16 when the third ceremony begins at 3 p.m.

More than 6,600 graduates will receive diplomas at University Quad, 3801 W. Temple Ave., Pomona. Guests will need to show QR-coded tickets.

An honorary doctorate degree will be conferred on aerospace engineering alumnus Mike Huggins, an industry advisor for Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering, who will speak at the 3 and 7:30 p.m. May 16 College of Engineering ceremonies. Former U.S. Rep. Grace Napolitano will receive an honorary doctorate degree during the 8 a.m. College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences ceremony on May 18, where she will also address graduates.
