CalBG seeks entries for 2025 bird photo contest

California Botanic Garden invites submissions of original photos of birds on its grounds through Friday, February 28 for its 2025 bird photography contest.
Winners in the “hummingbirds” and “all other birds” categories will be announced March 10.
Photographers are limited to one submission per category. Email files to photocontest@calbg.org with the subject “Bird Month Photo Contest 2025” in the subject line, and include your name, phone number, email, bird species depicted, and date the photo was taken. Photos must be no larger than 35 megabytes, be close to 3,000 pixels wide or tall, at least 150 DPI, and in jpeg format.
Ineligible entries include stitched panoramic, heavily manipulated photos, or those with borders, signatures, or watermarks.
Submitted photos become property of CalBG.
