The Los Angeles County Fair makes its springtime return Friday, May 2 through Monday, May 26, at the Fairplex, 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona. Activities include 150 food vendors, carnival games, rides, musical guests, artistic exhibitions, dance and theatrical performances, pig races, a petting zoo, shopping, a silent disco, vendor fairs, and culinary, horticultural and livestock contests. This year’s theme is “Art Unleashed.”

Opening day, which begins at 5 p.m. on May 2, features discounted $9.50 admission at lacountyfair.com/buy-tickets. Online admission ranges from $18.50 to $27.50. Gate tickets are $32.

The fair is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. May 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26. Visit lacountyfair.com for more info.
