On Tuesday, Inland Valley Repertory Theatre Company named Dean McVay president of its board of trustees.

McVay, an attorney and partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, has been a patron and donor to IVRT for more than a decade. He is also an adjunct professor at University of La Verne College of Law.

“I have experience running other non-profit boards and have learned a few tips about good board governance, which I plan to share with our talented and diverse IVRT Board of Directors,”  McVay wrote in a statement.

McVay served three years on IVRT Board of Trustees and has held various positions on various other nonprofit boards, including with San Bernardino Symphony Orchestra, Western San Bernardino County Bar Association, San Bernardino County Museum Foundation, Association of California Symphony Orchestras, Dignity Health Foundation Inland Empire, Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino, Pride Law Bar Association of the Inland Empire, and Ophelia’s Jump Productions.
