Tips on keeping kids safe in the digital world

The Claremont Police Department, in collaboration with the Claremont Unified School District, will present a free informational session titled, “Keeping Children Safe in the Digital World,” in the El Roble multi-purpose room on Tuesday, April 25 at 6 p.m.

This presentation aims to provide parents and caregivers with practical resources and strategies for monitoring social media, Internet filtering, device restrictions and parental controls, as well as information on responding to cyber bullying and sexting.

The information is applicable to parents and caregivers of transitional kindergarten through 12th grade students. Childcare, translation and refreshments will be provided.
