The City of Claremont announced Tuesday it was accepting grant applications for its community based organization program for the 2026 calendar year. Applications — due by 5 p.m. Friday, August 15 — are at claremontca.gov, search, “CBO grants.”

The program aims to supply funding to nonprofit organizations to address one of two categories: homeless and other critical needs, and general services including health and well-being, seniors, arts, children, and/or environmental services in the city. Funding is awarded to programs that best address the community’s needs and priorities, according to a news release.
