The City of Claremont’s annual free and open to the public movies in the park series kicks off Tuesday, July 15, with a screening of “Lilo & Stitch” at Lewis Park, 881 Syracuse Dr., followed by “Monsters, Inc.” Thursday, July 17 at June Vail Park, at Grand Avenue and Bluefield Drive;  “The Lorax” Wednesday, July 23 at Wheeler Park, 626 Vista Dr.; and “Mary Poppins” Thursday, July 24 at Memorial Park, 840 N. Indian Hill Blvd. The series concludes Tuesday, August 5 with Claremont Police Department’s National Night Out event at Joāt Park, 1717 N. Indian Hill Blvd., where “Moana 2” will be screened.
