Services for John B. Cobb, Jr. set for February 15

The Center for Process Studies is honoring the life and legacy of John B. Cobb, Jr., who died December 26 at age 99, with a 3 p.m. Saturday, February 15 memorial service at Claremont United Church of Christ, 233 W. Harrison Ave., Claremont, CA 91711. The event will be livestreamed, and a reception will follow.

Cobb, a theologian, philosopher and environmentalist, is often regarded as the preeminent scholar in the field of process philosophy and process theology. He was the co-founder and co-director of Claremont’s Center for Process Studies.
