Claremont senior center, Sidney Sparks, drives past Santiago High School sophomore center, Neryah Lokeni, to snag an easy two points on Saturday during the first round of the CIF Division 3AA championship tournament in Garden Grove. Santiago was on Claremont’s heels the entire time but the Wolfpack eventually put the Cavaliers away, 51-41, extending their overall record to 21-8. Claremont has enjoyed a great season so far with an 8-2 Palomares League record, which was good enough for second place.
