Pack loses, 42-7, in homecoming game

Claremont varsity football’s Palomares League record slipped to 1-2 with a 42-7 loss to Glendora on Friday during the Pack’s homecoming game.

 

The Pack was out played from the very start as the Tartans built a 14 point lead at the end of the first quarter that they extended to 35-0 by the halftime whistle. Glendora got another touchdown in the third but Claremont was able to break the shut out in the fourth with a passing play from junior Ricky Murillo to Isaiah Love.

 

Love hat 101 of the Pack’s 149 receiving yards while senior Devin Carraway had 11 carries for 65 yards. On defense Luke Pruitt and 10 tackles, five solo.

 

Claremont fans should have more to cheer for this Friday as the Pack hosts Colony, which will also be senior night.
