Renowned pastry chef on tap for Scripps Presents

Scripps College’s Scripps Present series continues with renowned Los Angeles pastry chef Roxana Jullapat’s online conversation and chocolate chip cookie “cook along,” at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 1.

“From her beloved Cooks County (where her biscuits inspired fanaticism) to her current East Hollywood storefront, Friends and Family, Roxana Jullapat is one of Los Angeles’ most celebrated pastry chefs,” read a Scripps press release. “She’s also of the most important voices on race and gender in the contemporary kitchen. Her forthcoming book, Mother Grains, focuses on sustainable baking. Join her for a conversation and inspiring baking demo.”
