Golden State begins water main repair on Arrow Hwy
Golden State Water Company will begin the preliminary construction work along Arrow Highway as a part of a water main replacement project.
This project—along Arrow Highway from Mountain Avenue to Indian Hill Boulevard—will consist of the installation of a new 12-inch water main, fire hydrants and residential service laterals, according to the city manager’s report.
Work will be performed in several phases to minimize impacts on traffic flows. The first phase will require westbound traffic to merge to one lane on Arrow Highway near Cambridge Avenue and Mountain Avenue.
During this phase of work, which is expected to be completed by the end of August, the left turn movement from westbound Arrow Highway to southbound Mountain Avenue will be restricted.
During this construction, city officials ask that drivers follow the appropriate construction signs and to be aware of the posted “No parking” signs. If you have any questions or concerns about this project, call the engineering division at (909) 399-5465.
