Vote by mail drop-off at Claremont city hall, Hughes Center
The city of Claremont will offer two vote-by-mail (VBM) drop-off locations leading up to the presidential primary election Tuesday, March 3. Ballot boxes are now available for vote-by-mail ballots at the Hughes Center, 1700 Danbury Rd. and at city hall, 207 Harvard Ave. VBM ballots may be dropped off now until the end of Election Day on March 3.
Ballot boxes will be picked up and swapped with empty ballot boxes twice a week by the county. VBM ballots can be dropped off at the Hughes Center Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The drop-off will close at 4:30 p.m. on Election Day.

VBM ballots were mailed out by the county on January 23. Permanent vote-by-mail voters will automatically be sent a ballot. Any other registered voter can submit a request to receive a VBM ballot by visiting www.lavote.net.
