A San Bernardino man was arrested after allegedly driving drunk with a loaded handgun and a 6-year-old boy in the car. Police found 23-year-old Esteban Diaz driving recklessly near Mountain and La Verne Avenues, and pulled the car over on San Antonio Avenue just south of La Verne in Pomona. There, they determined Mr. Diaz was driving drunk, and he also had a loaded 9-millimeter handgun with a high capacity magazine. A six-year-old boy was also in the car and not in a car seat. Mr. Diaz was arrested on suspicion of DUI and child endangerment and taken to CPD jail.
