Longtime senior service organization rebrands as AgingNext

For over 40 years, Community Senior Services has been serving Claremont and 15 other surrounding communities, supporting older adults and their families to maintain independence and to age well at home and in the community.

Always dedicated to helping seniors age with confidence and independence, the non-profit offers a variety of programs and services for those who need help with “what’s next” on the aging journey.  As such, the organization has taken on a new name which speaks to that journey, AgingNext.

Floy Biggs, AgingNext’s CEO, says the name change reflects the non-profit’s continued commitment to help its clients live happier, more fulfilling lives.  “As thriving at home specialists, we know seniors more than most community organizations because we have spent the last 44 years finding individualized solutions so seniors can live well and age well at home.”

AgingNext’s programs include the Memory Care Center, a social day program for those with memory impairment; Ride-and-Go for transportation options; Resource Specialists to help navigate the aging journey; Volunteers, a highly rewarding volunteer program for adults 55-plus; Care Partners, a program that allows homebound seniors to connect with a senior companion; and the AgingNext Village, a membership based program for those 60-plus that enjoy living independently, yet want to connect with others in a social and meaningful way.

“We are so much more than you think,” said Ms. Biggs.  AgingNext is also excited to unveil their new website, www.agingnext.org. It’s streamlined experience with bright colors, cool images, has easy to follow user paths to explore their services, get involved and donate to the organization.

The professional team at AgingNext connects clients with the programs, services and guidance needed to plan ahead or deal with important situations to ultimately age well at home. “Today people are living longer, with a focus on staying independent, active, connected and in their homes. It’s all about you and the road ahead,” Ms. Biggs shares.
