On Friday, September 6 around 3 p.m., a 13-year-old girl at El Roble Intermediate School, presumably on a dare, tried to open a door to a police cruiser. After that didn’t work, she climbed onto the hood of the police car and jumped up and down, Lt. Walters said. She was arrested on suspicion of vehicle tampering and taken to CPD jail, where she was later released into the custody of her parents.
