Drip irrigation is an effective way to ensure plants and trees get the proper amount of water, as it slowly waters over time. However, drip tubing is soft and easily accessible for wildlife.

With increasing temperatures, animals will be looking for a cold drink and can chew through the tubing to access water.

City staff asks that if you happen to be along Thompson Creek Trail or in one of the parks and notice running water or see chewed-through drip irrigation, contact the Community Services Department at (909) 399-5431 so they can make repairs.
