The Pooch Park will be temporarily closed from Monday, April 8 to Friday, May 10 for turf renovation and maintenance. This yearly scheduled maintenance is to ensure the turf remains healthy.

During the closure, residents may visit other Claremont parks that are pet friendly, which include the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, Thompson Creek Trail and Rancho San Jose Park. Dogs must be on a leash at these parks.

Residents may also visit off-leash dog parks in adjacent cities, such as San Dimas, Upland, Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga.
