Spring packed with CEF events to raise funds for schools
There are lots of things to look forward to this spring thanks to the Claremont Educational Foundation. The CEF supports the Claremont United School District and has gifted $140,000 to schools and teachers so far in the 2018-2019 academic year.
The money goes toward arts and music instruction in the elementary schools and technology at the high schools. Here are some events in the coming weeks.
Toyota Prius Raffle
Tickets are on sale for the CEF’s annual Prius Raffle. For a chance to win a 2018 Toyota Prius, you can purchase a ticket for $20 or six tickets for $100.
Tickets are currently being sold by all CUSD schools as well as CHS Class of 2019, CHS Class of 2020 and CHS Speech and Debate with more groups to come. Groups will earn a portion of each ticket sold. Tickets can also be purchased from Claremont Toyota (601 Auto Center Dr.,), Claremont Heritage (840 N. Indian Hill Blvd.), Rio de Ojas (250 N.
