City crews began installation of a new residential permit parking zone on the residential portion of Harvard Avenue between Foothill Boulevard and 12th Street.

The permit parking zone was approved by the city council at its November 27 meeting and will be in effect seven days a week, between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Once fully implemented, the use of available on-street parking will be limited to residents who live within the approved permit parking zone.

For enforcement purposes, these residents and their guests should display the placards distributed by the Claremont Police Department on their vehicles.
