Mt. San Antonio Gardens recently shared that Sodexo, who provides dining services, has been recognized with the Showcase Award that distinguishes them as one of two model Sodexo accounts in all of California where future clients and Sodexo managers will come for tours and training.

The award comes with a $5,000 contribution to a charitable organization to be designated by Mt. San Antonio Gardens. The Gardens named Claremont Meals on Wheels as the recipient of the $5,000 gift.

“It’s the perfect match because Mt. San Antonio Gardens dining services prepare the meals that are packaged by volunteers at Claremont Meals on Wheels headquarters on our campus and delivered throughout Claremont to people who would otherwise not have a hot, nutritious meal,”?said Mary Jean Neault, vice president for marketing and community outreach at Mt. San Antonio Gardens. “These meals are delivered with love and care by volunteers from the community, including many Gardens resident volunteers.”

The president of the board of Claremont Meals on Wheels was given the $5,000 gift by the Sodexo regional manager on Tuesday, November 20 at a dinner at the Gardens.
