Burglars break into Baskin-Robbins, steal cash from safe
Police are investigating a burglary at Baskin-Robbins early Saturday morning.
Around 3:35 a.m., three burglars smashed the front window of the ice cream shop at 973 west Foothill Boulevard, according to a release from the Claremont Police Department.
The thieves entered the business, broke open a small safe and stole and unknown amount of money from the business, police said. A cash register, which also contained an unknown amount of cash, was also taken from the shop.
All three burglars were wearing dark-colored pants, hooded sweatshirts covering their faces and were wearing gloves. They fled in an awaiting dark-colored 4-door compact car westbound on Foothill Boulevard.
