The Claremont High School advanced video production class entered a public service announcement film contest called Street Art Safe (http://www.streetsareforeveryone.org/streets-art-safe/), a Los Angeles based film contest aimed at raising awareness for safer streets.

CHS entered seven films and all seven were selected as finalists, with six won additional awards, including taking the top honor or Gold Award for the film Intersection. The list of student filmmakers and links to their entries are listed below.  As a result of the Gold Award, CHS received a $1500 grant and the group received a $1200 credit to spend at a bike shop. CHS wants to thank everyone for their continued support and encouragement of the Claremont Cinematic Arts Program. These student filmmakers are really making a difference.
