Harvey Botwin, a 40-year Pitzer professor of economics and longtime Claremont resident, died on November 16, 2015. He was 74.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 18 at 11 a.m. at Temple Beth Israel, 3033 N. Towne Ave. in Pomona. A reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Harvey Botwin Endowment for Economics at Pitzer College. A full account of Mr. Botwin’s life will be included in a future edition of the COURIER.
