The Claremont Police Department responded to the Euro Café, located at 546 E. Base Line Rd., after the alarm went off. Officers arrived at approximately 2:40 a.m. last night, March 13, to find that the suspect(s) had smashed the front glass door to the business and removed money from the register.

While investigating this burglary, officers conducted an area check of the surrounding businesses and found a second smashed front glass door at Rincon Azteca, 586 E. Base Line Rd. Again, money was stolen from the cash register.

There is no suspect(s) information at this time.  Anyone with information should contact the Claremont Police Department at 399-5411.

A second robbery also took place Wednesday March 13 at approximately 1:30 a.m.  Two subjects kicked the front door of Luscious Nails and Spa (446 Auto Center Drive) and stole cash and equipment from the store. The suspects then smashed a hole in the wall to enter the adjacent business, the M.W. Smoke Shop (444 Auto Center Drive). Once inside, the suspects removed cash and merchandise.

The suspects appear to be 2 male blacks and were seen driving a tan SUV with chrome rims.
