Pamela M. Moore
Claremont resident Pamela Marie
Moore died at home on August 25, 2011
at age 54. Born on June 2, 1957 at
Pomona Valley Hospital, she moved to
Claremont with her family shortly after.
Challenged with quadriplegic cerebral
palsy her entire life and reliant on the
help of others, Ms. Moore never failed
to offer unlimited and unconditional love
and gratitude to those around her.
“Although Pamela had many special
needs which were challenging, her angelic
presence brought out the best in
those who cared for her,” said her
mother, Kathryn Moore. “To us, she was
a gift and a treasure.”
With her contagious smile, Ms. Moore
lifted people’s spirits and taught patience,
compassion and sensitivity toward
others.
“Her contribution to the value of life
was immeasurable because of her love,”
commented her mother.
Ms. Moore is survived by her mother,
Kathryn Moore; her sister, Patricia Penn;
her brothers, Stephen Moore and
Christopher Moore; and by several
nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Ms. Moore
was held on August 29, 2011 at Our
Lady of the Assumption Catholic
Church, and burial took place the next
day at Oak Park Cemetery, Claremont.
