Inland Valley Humane Society reopens to the public
POMONA, CA — The Inland Valley Humane Society has reopened its facilities to the public again with certain coronavirus safety measures in place to protect both staff members and visitors.
Measures include physical distancing and sanitation protocols, according to the humane society. Guests and staff members are also required to wear face coverings indoors regardless of their vaccination status, as per Los Angeles County’s mask mandate.
The humane society will also be operating on modified hours for the time being.The customer service department will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for any animal licensing or redemptions. Wednesday’s will have extended hours from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., officials said.
License applications can also still be processed on the humane society’s website or by calling 909-623-9777 during business hours.Lost pets can be view at the humane society’s kennels Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The adoption center will also be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Only one person at a time will be allowed through the humane society’s kennels to view the pets under the organization’s care.
