The Claremont Library is part of the County of Los Angeles Library System. The 22,921 square foot facility has a meeting room with a capacity of 67 people, space for children and teens; a study room, book drop and a household battery recycling site. Resources include books, magazines, DVDs, microfilm readers, computers, free Wi-Fi, photocopier, Spanish and Chinese language books, large-print materials and downloadable eBooks and music. Children’s programs are ongoing. Driver’s license and proof of current address are necessary for a library card. Children may obtain a library card with parental permission.
