Tax help for seniors
Tax season is already upon us so starting in February, trained American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) tax aide volunteers will be available at the Joslyn Center, located at 660 N Mountain Ave., to provide “free assistance to taxpayers with low to moderate income, with special attention given to those 60 and older,” according to a news release.
Services will only be offered on Thursdays for those who schedule an appointment at the Joslyn Center for tax aid. Individuals can book their appointment by calling the center at (909) 399-5488.
“Masks will be required for all regardless of vaccination status, and we ask that anyone experiencing illness or who has recently been exposed to COVID reschedule their appointment,” the statement read.
Call to book your appointment during Joslyn center hours. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, but remains closed over the weekend.
