Taste of Claremont is back in a big way

With record sales for the Taste of Claremont this year, it was no surprise to see a legion of party-goers lined up when the doors opened at 5 p.m. Saturday evening. In fact, it was so busy members of the Rotary Club of Claremont barely could take a breath to keep the line moving. This was of course fantastic for Claremont, as over 900 people from all around the area joined in the food, drink and simply fun festivities. Because of the pandemic, the Taste was put on hold like so many other activities throughout Claremont. But with plenty of pent-up demand, and a reasonable $75 price, the longtime iconic event was a huge hit. And this was good news for Claremont Rotary, since the Taste is the main source of revenue to support many local people and organizations each year. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
