Shoes That Fit celebrates 30 years of giving

On Monday morning, September 12, employees, board members, city and state officials saluted Claremont nonprofit Shoes That Fit for its three decades of good work in the community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of its office on First Street.

Through 30 years of simple acts of kindness, Shoes That Fit has made a big difference for thousands of needy children by supplying them with shoes.

Employees, board members, city and state officials, including United States Representative Judy Chu (front, in blue dress), celebrated Shoes That Fit’s 30 year anniversary on Wednesday, September 12.

A company birthday party is in the works, with more details to come. For those looking to donate, any September monetary donation will be doubled by some of Shoes That Fit’s biggest supporters. Go to shoesthatfit.org for more info. COURIER photo/Peter Weinberger
