The monthly Claremont Art Walk returns Saturday, October 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will feature several artists throughout the Village. Here’s the lineup:

• The Ahmad Shariff Art Gallery, 107 Harvard Ave., Claremont, will host Victoria Sukhasyan and her exhibition, “Awaken Depth: Life in All Things Captured.”Born in Moscow in 1987, Sukhasyan started her artistic journey with oil painting. In 2018 she moved with her family to California where she now creates traditional watercolor, acrylic and oil paintings as well as digital illustrations.

• The Button Box Museum, located in the Bunny Gunner westside walkway, 230 W. Bonita Ave., Claremont, will present button themed art by Cindy Rinne.

• Bunny Gunner, 230 W. Bonita Ave., Claremont, will showcase “Synthesis” by Julian Lucas, whose works of black and white photographs are printed on archival fiber paper.The exhibit is said to “immerse viewers in a world full of danger, excitement, pain, and culture.”

• The Claremont Chamber of Commerce, 205 Yale Ave., Claremont, will feature photography by Gregory Rook.Rook “utilizes light and shadows to capture scenes that would most likely be overlooked and considered ordinary.”

• The Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, 200 W. First St., in the Claremont Depot, hosts an opening reception for, “Transformations in Glass: Vitreous Funk, Fantasy, and Light.”The exhibit includes works by Kéké Cribbs, Richard Marquis, and David Svenson. The exhibition will be viewable through February 5, 2023.

• Crescent Tree Corp, 206 W. Bonita Ave., suite G, Claremont, will display Alissa Warshaw’s exhibit, “In Essence.”The Los Angeles-based artist is influenced by sounds, colors, and textures of the natural world, according to a news release. Her work is rooted in “moments of observation, reflection, and memory, ushered into being through a state of meditative flow.”

• Studio C, 260 W. Bonita Ave., Claremont, unveils Lisa Segal and Elizabeth Carr’s dual exhibit, “Words are not Enough.”According to a news release, Segal, a Los Angeles artist, and poet, “is interested in the geometry of primary shapes, but within her own elaborately constructed systems. Working with paper elements, she sets the medium’s sensual and fragile nature against the rigidity and predictability of grids.”

• Square I, 110 Harvard Ave., Claremont, will feature “Yesterday and Today,” by National Watercolor Society member SylviaDuring the past nine years, Megerdichian’s focus has been on women’s faces across cultures and geographic boundaries. According to a news release, she enjoys highlighting each woman’s life experience through the process of layering patterns and bright colors.

• Pomona Valley Art Association, 317 W. First St., Claremont, will host “Dia de los Muertos,” showcasing artists Heidi Alder, Lysa Ashley, Kathleen McCall, Arlene Moreno, Colleen Sparlin and Roxanne Worley-Holm.
