Camp Claremont returns June 26
The City of Claremont’s annual summer camp, Camp Claremont, is poised to return Monday, June 26 through Friday, August 4.
Camp sessions are Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Campers will be divided by grade, with students in first to third grades at Taylor Hall, 1775 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont, while fourth to sixth graders will gather at the Youth Activity Center, 1717 N. Indian Hill Blvd., Claremont.
In-person registration began this week at the Hughes Center, 1700 Danbury Rd., Claremont. Proof of residency or Claremont Unified School District enrollment is required when registering and may take days to approve. Once approved, parents can enroll their child in camp sessions by calling (909) 399-5490 or going to ci.claremont.ca.us. Registration is $15 and weekly courses are $50 per child. An optional jersey is $15.
The camp is also in need of youth volunteers. Register online at anc.apm.activecommunities.com/claremontrecreation. A $20 fee is required.
