The City of Claremont will begin preliminary work for the Towne Avenue Complete Streets Improvement Project the week of July 17. The contractor is Gentry Brothers, Inc. The work will take place at Towne near Foothill Boulevard and the 210 Freeway. It will include surveying, underground utility marking, potholing, and field measurements, and will result in minimal impact on traffic and pedestrian access.
