Noted musical satirist at Folk Music Center this Saturday

American satirist, songwriter, guitarist and singer Roy Zimmerman, whose work has been heard on HBO and Showtime, and whose videos have garnered hundreds of millions of views, will perform at the Folk Music Center, 220 Yale Ave., Claremont, at 7 p.m. this Saturday, August 12.

Zimmerman, who writes with his wife Melanie Harby, has released 11 albums, including his latest, “This Machine: The Best of Roy Zimmerman,” a 25-song double album from his 25 years as a solo artist.

He has shared stages with a vast variety of musical and comedic luminaries, including Black Francis, Ellen DeGeneres, Arlo Guthrie, Bill Maher, Holly Near, John Oliver, The Roches, and the late George Carlin and Robin Williams.
