Claremont nonprofit Shoes That Fit recently appointed Stephanie Crean, founder and president of Meristem Private Wealth, to its board of directors. Crean joins with an extensive background in corporate finance, including 12 years at American Express and four at California Financial Partners, Inc.

The nonprofit also recently renewed its partnership with GEICO for the third year running. The partnership will provide more than 10,000 pairs of new athletic shoes to students nationwide.
