Claremont’s Pooch Park closed for turf renovation and maintenance Wednesday, November 1 and will reopen Friday, December 1. The biannual maintenance ensures the turf remains healthy, according to a post from the city.

Residents are encouraged to visit other pet-friendly Claremont parks including the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, 4031 N. Mills Ave.; Thompson Creek Trail, 2471 N. Indian Hill Blvd.; and Rancho San Jose Park, 666 W. San Jose Ave. during the closure. San Dimas, Upland, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga also have dog friendly parks.
