Claremont Art Walk, December 2023
The final Claremont Art Walk of 2023 will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, December 2. Here’s what’s on tap:
- Ahmad Shariff Art Gallery, 107 Harvard Ave., features work by local artists in “The Gift of Creativity.”
- Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College, 120 W. Bonita Ave., continues “June Harwood: Paintings,” and “Tracing the Edge.” In addition, Michael Decker’s pop-up thrift shop will be held during art walk and from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, December 3.
- Bunny Gunner, 230 W. Bonita Ave., showcases blown glass work by Paul Brayton.
- The Claremont Chamber of Commerce, 205 Yale Ave., debuts work by Marines Adrianza.
- Michael Gougis’ “Ice, Institutions and The Haunting of Mt. SAC” will be up at The Claremont Forum, 586 W. First St.
- The Claremont Lewis Museum of Art, 200 W. First St., continues “Face to Face: Ken Gonzales-Day,” with live jazz from Vintage Music, through January 21, 2024.
- Crescent Tree Corp, 206 W. Bonita Ave., Suite G, showcases Anna Wingfield’s “Colorscapes.”
- The Laemmle Claremont 5 Theatre, 450 W. Second St., is home to “About Face,” portraits by Jacqueline Knell.
- Pomona Valley Art Association, 317 W. First St., exhibits “Nostalgia, Times Past,” works by Charlene Hobbs, Roxanne Worley-Holm, and Valerie Nelson.
- Square I, 110 Harvard Ave., features painters Leslie Hurst and Linda Webb.
- Studio C, 260 W. Bonita Ave., opens Leslie Brown’s “Girls Will Be Girls.”
