Claremont Chamber outlines priorities for 2024

On Tuesday, Claremont city leaders, CUSD leadership and local business owners gathered to talk about 2024 plans for the Claremont Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber’s Executive Director Randy Lopez State of the Chamber comments outlined highlights of last year, while focusing on programs members can use to assist their businesses. The best news from 2023 came from the Village Venture Arts & Crafts Festival, where a record 400 vendors supported the event, with an estimated attendance of over 11,000 people. The event typically generates around $100,000, key revenue for the Chamber each year. The goal being to continue to grow. This marked quite a recovery from the pandemic, that literally shutdown the event for two years in 2020 and 2021. Courier photo/Peter Weinberger
