“Fahrenheit 2024,” a juried exhibition at the American Museum of Ceramic Art, 399 N. Garey Ave., Pomona, opens Saturday, January 20, with a free 4 to 6 p.m. reception.

This year’s installation features about 100 artists. Kathy King, director of the ceramics program at Harvard University, is this year’s juror.

“It’s a privilege to show pieces created by this group of vibrant, contemporary artists,” AMOCA wrote Executive Director Beth Ann Gerstein in a news release. “Exhibitions like this one, created through open calls, encourage new and established artists to be in conversation with one another as they also work to contribute to the larger ceramic art community. In Fahrenheit 2024, viewers will be invited to consider traditional and innovative practices in ceramics, witnessing the range of creativity, technique, and inspiration these contemporary ceramic artists draw upon.”

The museum is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Admission is $14, $9 for seniors, and $7 for students and Pomona residents. Members and children under 12 are free.
