Illustrator and New York Times bestselling author Dan Santat will read from his newest book, “Built to Last,” Tuesday, May 28 at Foothill Country Day School, 1035 Harrison Ave., Claremont.

Santat will be on campus for an interactive assembly to introduce students to and share his process. The author will also sign books for students and answer questions.

Santat is the creator of “The Adventures of Beekle: The Unimaginary Friend” and the Disney-animated series “The Replacements,” which is based on his book “The Guild of Geniuses.”
