Claremont Unified School District hosted its annual “Honor Our Own” event recently at the Claremont High School gym to celebrate employees’ contributions and dedication to CUSD.

Claremont High teacher Ryan Easton was named 2023-2024 teacher of the year; licensed vocational nurse Marilyn Dotts was named classified employee of the year; and Claremont After-School Programs board president Frank D’Emilio received the Richard S. Kirkendall Award. Employees were also awarded pins for their service spanning from 10 to 40 years, and 24 retirees were honored.
