The City of Claremont and Claremont Heritage host a free and public joint workshop Thursday, July 25 to give residents an overview of the new cultural resources and preservation ordinance and Mills Act, and to show how to register structures of historic and architectural merit to the local preservation database. Then on Saturday, August 3, Claremont Heritage hosts Loteria, a fundraising event featuring tacos and games at a private Claremont residence. Tickets are $35. The location will be made available at purchase time by calling (909) 624-4141.
