Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare receives CARF reaccreditation

On Tuesday, Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare announced it had received reaccreditation for its in-patient rehabilitation unit and the Casa Colina Transitional Living Center by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, with new certifications for brain injury specialty programs, through September 30, 2027.

“For providers of medical rehabilitation, CARF accreditation is considered a gold standard for services and signifies that Casa Colina has met rigorous international benchmarks for quality, demonstrating its ability to deliver effective, evidence-based rehabilitation services that promote positive outcomes for patients,” a news release read.

A CARF certified brain injury specialty program not only provides comprehensive services to meet the unique needs of individuals with acquired brain injury, but allows for brain injury victims to enhance their quality of life, according to the release.

Casa Colina Hospital’s inpatient rehabilitation unit earned its first CARF accreditation in 2021 and its Transitional Living Center has been CARF accredited since 1974.
