Claremont Recreation and Human Services Department is offering $40 tickets for folks 55 and older to attend “The Sound of Music” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 21 at Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga. Tickets for the excursion include round trip transportation from Alexander Hughes Community Center in Claremont.

Claremont residents get priority registration through January 26 at anc.apm.activecommunities.com/claremontrecreation, search “Sound of Music.”

The Lewis is at 12505 Cultural Center Dr., Rancho Cucamonga.

Attendees should check in at the Hughes Center, 1700 Danbury Rd., Claremont, by 4:15 p.m. March 21. The bus will depart at 4:30 and return at approximately10:30.
