Superior Pavement Markings recently began repainting street markings at crosswalks adjacent to Claremont schools. The restriping project may cause minor traffic delays during work hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will continue along portions of Monte Vista Avenue from August 18 to 22, San Jose Avenue August 25 to 28, and Base Line Road August 28 to September 19. Motorists are asked to proceed with caution.

Claremont’s $312,878 contract with Superior Pavement Markings was approved by the City Council in June. Additional costs were covered by state gas tax funding.
