Friday, August 15

  • Local high school students are invited to apply for the American Museum of Ceramic Art and School of Arts and Enterprise’s teen council, a weekly after-school ceramic program, at amoca.org/education/teen-council. Entries are due Sunday, August 24.

 

  • Books and media on Claremont Helen Renwick Library’s burgundy shelves and carts, at 208 N. Harvard Ave., are specially priced during Friends of the Claremont Library’s August sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday.

 

  • A free book club for seniors gathers from 10 a.m. to noon at James L. Brulte Senior Center, 11200 Base Line Rd., Rancho Cucamonga.
