Friday, December 5

 

 

  • Shop local wares and tour American Museum of Ceramic Art exhibits during its 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. treasure sale weekend, running from December 5-7 at 399 N. Garey Ave., Pomona. Info is at amoca.org/events.

 

  • Tickets are $60-$80 at pomonachamber.org for Pomona Chamber of Commerce’s 11 a.m. holiday for heroes event at Fuego Cocina and Cantina, 205 E. Second St.

 

  • The Claremont Artisans Collective’s winter art sale at Claremont United Church of Christ, 233 Harrison Ave., runs from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. December 6. A portion of sales supports CUCC.

 

  • Winterfest, a free and open to the public program featuring Michael Ryan and Friends, runs from 3 to 5 p.m. at Pilgrim Place’s Petterson Museum of Intercultural Art, 730 Plymouth Rd., Claremont.
